We are committed to fixing Nigeria under 12 months – ANP Presidential Candidate


Ahead of the Saturday polls, Presidential Candidate of Alliance National Party (ANP), Mr Mashood Shittu has promised to fix Nigeria in one year if he wins the election.


Addressing Journalists shortly after a courtesy visit on the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris at his Palace in Zaria, Kaduna State, Shittu disclosed that even though the Country was blessed, selfish interest of the leaders had continued to deny the people of developments.

On the prevailing insecurity in some parts of the country, the ANP presidential candidate said he had good structures on the ground if he becomes the President to stamp out the insecurity from the country.

He also disclosed that his blueprint for massive job creation, transparency among others will stamp out insecurity from the country.

Mr Shittu explained that the Boko Haram menace could be address by fighting poverty among the citizens especially the youth.

“If our youth are given jobs nobody will not want to involve himself in any criminal activities” he said

Ealier in the palace, the presidential Candidate told the Emir that he was at his Palace to seek his fatherly and royal blessing as father of all Nigerians.

Mr Shittu further explained that he was fond of the Emir and needed his wise counsel, because he was highly respected in the North and Country at large.

Responding the Emir prayed that God will see the Candidate through in his struggle, saying “our door will always be open for any advise”.
